I see so many people, many of which I care for deeply, battle with anxiety and depression. Some I know were so broken down that they felt it necessary to take their own life. Some self inflict pain on their bodies. It hurts my heart to see this. I wish that I could cure everyone. Life throws so many obstacles at us that sometimes the only thing that feels right is to give up. The devil is a liar!!! Whatever he can do to make you feel that you have no purpose in life, he'll do. He is happy if your life is in turmoil. When he attacks you so badly, it means your doing something right. God doesn't intend for us to suffer everyday from mental illness. He had a great plan for your life before you were even created. If we allow the devil to get in our minds, we're intervening with God's plan. The greatest thing is we don't have to fight the battle alone. Support from friends, family and church members, but most importantly allowing God to lead, is the greatest team ever made. The word says that no weapon formed against you will ever prosper. I trust on that with all my heart. I'm here to tell you that no matter what you may be dealing with, God Almighty can handle it. He says you are worth it. I wanna share a poem I wrote. It touches on several things. When I started it, I was steering towards writing only about suicide. But God took my mind where He saw fit. I hope you enjoy it and always remember you can call on me and I will pray with you and for you.

My friend I came to say, you no longer have to hide,
There is a better way, just come to the winning side.
God has a plan for you, He says just listen and be still,
The devil also see's this plan that he don't want you to fulfill.
That devil is a coward, he will only tell you lies,
He comes at you in your darkest hours, to break you down, he tries.
The God I know is bigger if you'll only seek His face,
He can take away your burdens, the pain He can replace.
Don't let the devil take control and make you feel you want to die,
That's not what God intends, although the devil will always try.
It is his greatest trick, he can get inside your head,
Make you fell you have no purpose, make you wish that you were dead.
But here I stand before you, I can see your future's bright,
I want you to see yourself out of the storm, you're standing in the light.
I'll help bridge the gap, between you and our Lord,
I'll be the stepping stone, all you got to do is get onboard.
If you're having thoughts of suicide, or the urge to end it all,
Remember that God is the only one whose authorized to make that call.
Suicide is not the answer, it hurts everyone involved,
For the people who love you, there'll be more problems to solve.
If your being bullied at school, or your marriage is falling apart,
Turn to Jesus Christ, but that's merely just the start.
Your being beat down and abused, and you feel there's no way out,
God is moving for you, in Him I do not doubt.
You just lost your job but the bills they cannot wait,
Your best friend just betrayed you and you're filled with so much hate.
It's in these times of trouble, we can't let the devil win.
God sees all our struggle, we just got to let Him in.
You are worthy, you are not a mistake,
Trust me when I say, there are no chains God cannot break.
You are loved and valued, you are set apart,
Fall on your knees at the cross, that's where I had to start.
God's not done with you, He's got bigger plans,
Surrender today and place your burdens in His hands.
His yoke is easy and His burden is light,
The Father smiles when He looks at you, you are His delight.
